Originally created in 1964 in New Hampshire as one of the earliest cold hardy peaches. It is freestone and self-fertile. The Peach is medium to large in size, round, fuzzy, and very juicy. For a cold-hardy peach, this peach excels by all standard metrics of quality and flavor and makes an excellent addition to an orchard. The peach is yellow with a saturated dark red blush all over the fruit. The tree, like other peach trees, is a vigorous grower and should be pruned annually once it sets fruit to continue to heavily crop.
