Amouage Remain is one of the standout releases from Amouage's new Essences collection. It's a woody-spicy amber fragrance built around a rich vanilla and frankincense accord, offering a more approachable and comforting style than many traditional Amouage creations. Each fragrance is highly concentrated, containing 30% pure perfume oils, and underwent a meticulous six-month aging process, including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oakwood barrels, resulting in a deep, layered scent experience. Housed in a new bottle – the first new design introduced by Amouage in 15 years – the Essences represent a pinnacle of olfactory artisanship. Remain by perfumer Pierre Negrin. What It Smells Like Remain opens with sparkling citrus, aromatic frankincense, and a gentle spicy kick from pimento berry. As it develops, the florals add warmth rather than sweetness. The real star is the drydown—a luxurious blend of creamy vanilla, tonka bean, incense, and woods.
