Lovesick is an Italian band made up of Paolo Roberto Pianezza and Francesca Alinovi. Two multi-instrumentalists whose influences are deeply rooted in American country, rock ‘n’ rol l and western swing from the 40s and 50s.As well as their distinctive vocal harmonies, Paolo plays electric and acoustic guitar, as well as lap-steel, Resonator and Dobro. Francesca, for her part, plays a double bass to which she has added a brush pad, a kind of percussion inside her instrument that allows her to keep the rhythm with brooms. The duo is joined by Alessandro Cosentino on violin and drums. Show more
