For computer issues affecting software performance (antivirus conflicts, incomplete Windows updates, insufficient hard drive space, incorrect user account settings, etc.) What we do: Remotely diagnose the issue and attempt resolution. In complex cases, we can arrange for a Texa specialist to connect remotely (typically weekday evenings due to time zones). NOTE: If your computers are managed by a local IT specialist, please contact them directly. Often issues are as a result of restricted admin profiles or security suites that we will not be able to access. This includes: Important Notes: β We guide you through the diagnostic process. You must be able to perform and system, wiring, connector checks and tests. If you are not prepared to perform the required diagnostic processes and are relying on a quick answer from any diagnostic software - we are unlikely to be able to help. If you are going to send your customer to a dealer anyway, there is no point in wasting your time. β We cannot perform physical wiring checks or component tests for you β We cannot diagnose issues without seeing the system remotely β οΈ Common Issues & Best Practices Communication Errors can be caused by: flat battery, wiring issues, faulty components, or blown fuses. Before replacing parts: Always check the entire system for errors and obtain a general electrical overview. Swapping parts is not fault diagnosis. Avoid unnecessary errors: Don't dive into unfamiliar systems and start performing resets and calibrations without proper understanding. Our Approach: Understanding and analyzing available information is crucial for correct fault diagnosis. Our diagnostic software is a starting point β the next steps involve using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and the guided diagnosis section within IDC5 software for resistance and voltage values, along with provided wiring diagrams. Remember: Our software complements but doesn't replace a service manual. However, there's extensive information available if you know where to look, especially with the new IDC6 AI features. π³ Payment Terms By creating a booking, you agree to pay the invoice which will be emailed immediately upon completion of the support session. Chargeable services are billed at $110 inc GST per hour. 1 Hour minimum charge. Further time at 30 minute intervals. in half-hour increments.
