This is our reimagining of the lowly spring and spring plate, overtime the original spring plate will creep and deflect causing inconsistencies is how the it acts. These updated ve rsion of the parts use modern materials (glass filled pom) to provide 3x less deflection compared to the original. The spring is very similar to the original in terms of compression force, about a 10% boost to account for the original sitting a module for 30 years.
