Both static and elastic side straps can be used on the Freemotion harness (from size 4 and up), Freemotion harness 5.0 (from size 4 and up) and the Combined harness. They are repla ceable. The harnesses come with static side straps as standard, because they are more durable than the elastic side straps.Elastic side straps give the dog a few more centimeters for each stride.
