A battery that's ahead of the class The R1+S runs a 72V 55Ah semi-solid-state pack — 3.96 kWh of CE-320S cells rated to 10C discharge. That high discharge rate is what lets the bike hold peak power instead of sagging halfway through a hill climb. We publish two range numbers because we'd rather you trust us than be surprised: the factory rating is 150 km (93 mi) at a steady 25 km/h, and our own tested real-world range is approximately 60 miles under mixed riding.
