The kit's standout capability is the TrueClot® Blood Simulant system. Unlike standard simulated blood, TrueClot® Blood Simulant is specifically formulated to react with TrueClot® Simulated Hemostatic Gauze — forming realistic simulated clots at the point of bleeding during the scenario. Trainees don't just pack a wound and apply pressure; they see a visible clotting response that demonstrates the mechanism of haemostatic gauze and reinforces why correct packing technique and product selection matter. That visual feedback is a significant training differentiator that generic wound packing systems can't replicate. Two TrueClot® wound models are included — both available in GSW large calibre wound with bone or knife/laceration configuration, with one unit in light flesh and one in dark flesh tone, providing immediate skin tone diversity across the training group without additional ordering. Each wound model connects to a 1 litre squeeze bottle bleeding system that delivers TrueClot® Blood Simulant to the wound cavity during training, allowing instructors to run simultaneous stations from a single kit.
