Resi E1200 Single-Channel 4K Encoder (OPEN BOX) Server-Grade 4K Live Streaming Encoder for Single-Feed Broadcast Workflows The Resi E1200 is a server-grade single-channel 4K encoder designed for live streaming and multisite broadcasting workflows that require dependable professional video delivery. Built for single-feed productions, main campus encoding, and organizations moving beyond consumer-grade streaming hardware, the E1200 provides a rackmount encoding platform for professional broadcast environments. The E1200 provides one 10-bit 6G-SDI input and one HDMI 2.0a input for video up to 2160p30 or 1080p60. It supports H.264 video compression and HEVC/H.265 for Multisite workflows, along with up to 16 channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz embedded audio. AAC-LC audio encoding supports 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16 audio channels. Two Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections support network integration in professional streaming environments. Resi's Resilient Streaming Protocol architecture stores captured content locally throughout the capture and transmission process so that content recorded during an internet connectivity interruption can be transmitted automatically after connectivity is restored. The E1200 uses a 2U rackmount form factor and supports 100V to 240V power input with a maximum draw of 380W. Its server-grade design is built for professional organizations that need single-channel encoding without adding unnecessary multi-feed complexity. Key Features Single-channel server-grade 4K live streaming encoder One 10-bit 6G-SDI and one HDMI 2.0a video input Supports video up to 2160p30 or 1080p60 H.264 and HEVC/H.265 video codec support, with H.265 for Multisite workflows Supports up to 16 channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz embedded audio Two Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections and 2U rackmount design Professional Applications Single-feed live streaming Multisite main campus encoding House of worship broadcast systems Professional live production workflows Server-grade network video encoding System Integration The Resi E1200 fits into professional video production and streaming systems as a single-channel encoder between an SDI or HDMI video source and the Resi streaming workflow. Its 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a inputs support professional video source integration, while dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections provide network connectivity. The 2U rackmount chassis allows the encoder to be installed in professional production racks and broadcast system environments. Broadcast Workflow Benefits The E1200 is designed for broadcasts where internet connectivity interruptions should not automatically result in lost captured content. Resi's streaming architecture stores content locally through the capture and transmission process and automatically transmits content captured during a connectivity outage after the connection is restored. This supports live streaming and multisite teams that need a more resilient approach to network-based video delivery. Frequently Asked Questions What is the Resi E1200 used for?
