Are you a student doing clinicals eager to get involved with Centering at your health center? This dynamic four-hour, live virtual workshop is designed exclusively for residents and students doing their clinicals, fields like nursing and midwifery. Join a group of peers for an engaging and interactive learning experience that will equip you with the skills and confidence to facilitate your first Centering group. This workshop is tailored to meet the needs of residents and healthcare provider students (such as medical, midwifery, nursing) doing their clinicals at a site doing Centering.; it replaces the standard Centering Facilitation Workshop. All other healthcare staff must take the “Centering Facilitation Workshop”. Topics This training replaces the Centering Facilitation Workshop for residents and healthcare provider students. Upon completion of this workshop, and in conjunction with an observation of a full Centering session, participants will be able to facilitate Centering groups effectively. This training consists of two parts: Observation of a Centering group at your site Participation in “Resident Facilitation Workshop” - a four-hour, live virtual workshop Audience This innovative learning path is tailor-made for residents and other provider healthcare students (such as medical, midwifery, nursing) doing their clinicals at a site doing Centering. Registration Policy Registration closes one week prior to the workshop date. Centering Healthcare Institute reserves the right to cancel the workshop based on insufficient registration by the deadline date. Resident Facilitation Workshop is meant for people in residency programs, or provider students doing their clinicals at a Centering site.
