The Resilmount A237BR is a patented, engineered acoustic isolation clip designed to reduce sound transfer between a steel bar joist structure and the furring channel to which drywall is fixed. Purpose-built for steel joist applications where a dropped ceiling is required, it acoustically decouples the ceiling from the floor assembly above.The bolt-on design fits directly through the steel joist, with the bottom of the clip accepting standard furring channel to decouple the gypsum board from the framing above. Compatible with all hanger wire, the A237BR installs easily into both new and existing ceiling systems. Bolts are available in three lengths, 3", 4", and 5", to accommodate varying joist configurations.Acoustically tested for STC and IIC performance, and manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality control system, ensuring consistent, reliable performance on every project.
