We are starting with the basics with this resin pouring workshop! In this workshop you will learn how to mix resin, add color, and blend resin to create either a wave or a marble effect. Finished trees will measure approximately 14 or 19 inches in height. Create one or create a pair! Some people may be sensitive to the odor produced by pouring resin. If this sounds like you, we suggest you bring a respirator to class to wear to protect from the fumes. Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic we will not be providing respirators for this class. The resin we are using for the class is listed as being odorless and safe to pour with out the use of masks . The resin we will be using is also listed as UV, scratch and water resistant. The resin is also listed a food safe! You will choose to create one of two looks: a beach scene or marbleized colors. Be sure to let us know if you are coming with friends so we group you all together! You will pick your choice of colors for your project the night of the workshop! Pick you project here & our instructors will teach you to stain and paint (by stencil, not free-hand) your own wooden décor. Photos shown are just examples, you will choose your own stain and paint colors in the studio on the day of your workshop. 🛠 You may bring your own beer & wine to enjoy during the workshop! (21+) 🛠 We will start promptly at the time noted or agreed upon. Out of respect for other Makers and our staff please arrive on time! If the photo shows personalization (name or date), you will enter your name/date. Otherwise, project does not come with personalization. Enter any seating requests. Agree to terms & conditions. Proceed to checkout. This is WOOD workshop so your sign WILL HAVE random cracks, chips, knots and other NATURAL blemishes that give it it's characteristics! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional! Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be WALL worthy! Simple substitutions of words within a design and layout can be generally made at no additional charge. Anything beyond a small change will have a design charge added of $10-$25 depending on the nature of the request. Due to the customization at ALL our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice your project will be saved and can be completed at a future workshop within 30 days.
