The Resolute 714 is their “World War II” jeans model, a slightly loose fit with a high rise and curved hips, based on jeans produced in the WWII period in the United States. Garments at the time were forced to simplify due to material restrictions impose by the US Government. A certain amount of metal, fabric and sewing thread was to be removed, resulting in some special details. For example : off came the watch pocket rivets, the crotch rivet & cinch, along with its two rivets and on came a standard issue Laurel Donut Shaped front button. Resolute went the extra mile to make a pair of jeans true to the specifications of that time. The denim used is Shuttle Woven in Japan to Resolute's exact specifications and comes in at 13.5Oz which is a perfect weight for an everyday pair of jeans. The denim fades beautifully and gets nice and fluffy over time. 100% Cotton 13.5 Oz.
