New England rightly gets all the accolades for Fall colors but there are parts of Washington that can compete with the best of shows from the East. To capture the beauty of this sc ene from the area around Tumwater Canyon near Leavenworth in Washington, I've used a very gentle vertical motion of the camera. This has created a beautiful blur without completely obliterating the details on the tree barks. This looks simply stunning in larger sizes.
