The base of this chiffonier has plenty of functional storage, featuring a single smaller cupboard alongside two drawers, below this sits a full width double door cupboard and a full width drawer. The ornately carved upper section is adorned with intricate panelling and hand turned finials. A bevelled mirror and decorative crown complete this stunning piece. We have lovingly restored this by stripping back by hand the previous finish before applying several coats of a clear matte lacquer to accentuate the natural colour and grain of the oak and to give a long-lasting and durable finish. As with any piece of furniture of this age it has taken the odd knock and there is wear and tear in the lining of one of the drawers, all this is highlighted in the accompanying photographs.
