This is a beautifully restored and traditional hallrobe with plenty of practical storage and will be at home in a traditional or more contemporary setting. The hallrobe has a full- width hanging rail with four hooks attached which are ideal for hanging coats and jackets. Above the hanging bar is a full-width shelf for storing boxes, linen or folded items. At the bottom, there's plenty of space that could be utilised with footwear, cases or bags. It has to be noted that the hallrobe is not deep enough to fit standard-size coat hangers, the inner depth is 38cm. We have restored this great oak hallrobe by stripping back and re-lacquering the wood to accentuate the rich tones of the natural oak and to give a hard-wearing finish. The main body of the hallrobe is constructed from a mixture of woods, some solid and some veneer panels, and the back is made from plywood. With its wonderfully carved door front and crown along with the ornate hinges, this delightful hallrobe will make a fantastic addition to any bedroom or hallway.
