This quality sideboard comprises an oak frame with oak-veneered panels and plywood back and drawer sections.Our restoration workshop has stripped the original varnish from this piece before refinishing with a matt lacquer that enhances the rich oak character and also provides a good level of everyday protection. The final two photos show a small area of the veneer which has lifted slightly and gives a very slight 'bubbling' effect, due to historical water damage.
