The 'Retro Waves' mirror is a sustainably made functional piece of art. The mirror frame is handcrafted from paper clay - a mix of recycled paper pulp and clay powder. Air dried under the suns rays, the material takes on a solid sculptural form with a textured appearance. It is then hand painted with water based paint in a golden mustard colour. Dimensions: 44cm diameter x 4cm deep (the mirror is approximately 30cm diameter with the frame measuring approximately 7cm wide) The frame has a slight convex curve to it taking the form of a sculpture protruding slightly from the wall. The frame sits flush against the wall.
