It is an optional item that will reduce sound levels by approximately 10 dBA, and disperse the exhaust airflow. The filter reduces noise and draft and is washable and very durable. The diffuser filter and cover snaps over the built in exhalation holes on the elbow section of the Eson 2 Nasal Mask. The Eson 2 Diffuser Cover is washable and reusable making it a great eco-friendly addition to any Eson 2 mask.
