The Rev Rack Tent (g2) HellaStorm consists of a Rev Tent and Hellastorm fly sheet bundled with the hardware needed to mount the tent directly to platform style roof racks 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm or larger (You provide the roof rack!). The Rev Rack Tent can also be easily set up on the ground for maximum camping options. The “HellaStorm” style removable fly sheet is built for the most severe weather. The 3000mm PU coated fabric offers twice the waterproofing of the standard "element" style fly sheet and features an additional door layer at the main entrance. The HellaStorm is for the most hard core of all weather campers. Improvements to this 2nd generation Rev Rack Tent include a new giant main entrance w/ increased head room and a removable fly sheet for warm weather camping and stargazing through the new moonroof. The Rev Rack Tent has been designed to attach at specific points to the appropriately sized Front Runner, Rhino and Yakima Racks using included hardware. For all other popular roof rack brands, we include the Rev Straps to secure the tent to the roof rack. Basket style roof racks may interfere with the tent doors and are not ideal, but can also be used as long as there is proper floor support.
