This exquisite, spa quality clay comes from deep beneath the Atlas Mountains in Eastern Morocco. The use of rhassoul clay dates back centuries, with applications including soaps, s hampoos, skin conditioners, and therapeutic applications. Modern day uses include dry shampoo and baby powder. Considered one of the more gentle clays for skin care, rhassoul clay offers effective oil absorption and is commonly used for sensitive and mature skin. Rhassoul clay swells with the addition of water and contains high levels of silica, calcium, potassium, and magnesium, making it more effective in skin care applications including scrubs, masks, and wraps. Sun dried and untreated, our rhassoul clay has been sifted/refined to a smooth, silky powder.
