UPDATE: Unfortunately, the biopsy came back, and this sweet baby was diagnosed with Ependymoma. In just a few short weeks she will start Chemo. Please keep this babygirl and her family in your thoughts and prayers. A lot may not know but Colten and Amber Bridges 7-month-old little girl has been admitted to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. In the last 24 hours they have gotten hit with news no parents should hear. She originally was diagnosed with a kidney infection, UTI and sepsis. But later did a CT scan and it revealed a spot on her brain. She will under go a very lengthy surgery Friday. They will be in the ICU for at least a week and we do not know the full length of the hospital stay as of yet. Amber and Colten both will be able to take FMLA but Colten does not get paid and has no time off. As everyone is aware living off one income and being miles away from home will be tremendously hard. I am just asking for assistance for meals, gas, and bills while they are in Nashville. We also would appreciate any prayers for all of them as they have a very hard next few days if not months as they travel this unknown path.
