The Rhino-Rack Universal Side Loader is an incredibly useful tool when loading your paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, and other gear onto your roof racks. Traditionally this is a 2-person job, depending on the size of the item, however the Universal Side Loader allows 1 person to do it on their own. To load a kayak as an example, first load one end of the kayak on the Side Loader. Then, using that end as a pivot, move the end you're holding onto the roof racks. Next, move the end of the kayak still on the Side Loader onto the roof racks. To make this process as easy as possible, the loader has an integrated load stop, which prevents items from sliding off the bar. Once done, close the Side Loader and remember to tie down your kayak!
