Rhododendron Blattgold is an attractive variagated leaved plant from dark green to bright golden yellow shades. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost with added John Innes. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.Best grown in a position of sun/partial shade avoiding the early morning sun in a moisture retentive soil. This is an ericaceous or acid loving plant and must be planted in an acidic soil. If your soil is not suitable then it may be grown in a container using ericaceous compost.
