Strawberry Red rhubarb is a variety known for its deep red, slender stems and its unique, mild flavour that is sweeter and less tart than traditional rhubarb. The tender stems have a subtle strawberry-like aroma, making it a great choice for desserts like pies, jams, and compotes. This variety is prized for its vibrant colour and excellent texture when cooked. It grows well in cooler climates and can be harvested in early to mid-spring, offering a sweet twist on classic rhubarb recipes. Zone 3. (36") Planting Rhubarb Blog Post Show more
