In the days of old, when a ship in the distance raised the black flag, a shiver would run through the crew because they knew what it meant: "Pirates!" It was time for a showdown... This "Dark Sail" cuvée, with its black sail, probably alludes to those times, and the terrifying ship depicted on the label confirms it. It is known that this new vintage from Maison Bologne is crafted in homage to Jean-Antoine Amé-Noël, who is said to have acquired the Bologne estate thanks to a mysterious treasure...Pirates, a treasure – there's no doubt we're in the world of rum!Distilled in a copper column and aged in French and American oak barrels for 3 to 6 years, the blending process was carried out under the watchful eye of Master Blender Frédéric David.
