The Dynamic Response Outsoleis a two-piece system—the contoured polycarbonate midsole supports the natural shape of the foot and offers strengthand rigidity. The rugged polyurethane outsole offers dampening and vibration reduction. The combination is a rigid,durable, and very comfortable ride for the skater. What is dynamic response? The Dynamic Response Outsole is a state-of-the-art, two-piece outsole/midsole system. The inner piece, or the midsole,is made from polycarbonate and offers strength, rigidity, and durability. The Dynamic Response Outsole is made frompolyurethane and offers to dampen. The rigidity and strength offer a great response, while the dampening property makesIt's very comfortable to skate. The polycarbonate midsole is designed and manufactured specifically for our lasts, giving it contours not found inflat carbon-fiber or fiberglass quad skating boots. These contours hug and support the natural contours of the foot.By contrast, carbon fiber and fiberglass shells of quad skating boots are typically made by bonding flat layers of thematerial to each other, resulting in a flat footbed that does not support the natural shape and contours of the foot.This can cause pain, numbness, cramping, and decreased performance. However, if there is discomfortit is best to use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the area of discomfort on the boot, and use your fingers or the handle of asmall screwdriver to punch out the specific area.
