Custom Forestay Murrays Part# 002-9040 Murrays makes all of our rigging on site in California by experienced riggers. We can make almost anything. We will need the following inform ation to make a custom forestay for you. Some configurations my cost more if it is long or requires 2 roller swaged fittings. Other types of fittings can be used as available suck as hooks, T fittings, Turnbuckles, and swivels. Wire type - 1x19 or 7x19. 1x19 is stronger and stiffer, 7x19 is more flexible with a lower working load. Most beach catamarans use 1x19.Wire Diameter - 3/32", 1/8", 5/32". Most cats use 1/8" for the forestay and 5/32 for an upper forestay.Wire Coating - Black, white or bare.Length - Overall lengthEnd fittings - thimble with 2 nico press ovals, roller swaged marine eye or fork.
