Rigging Custom Shroud Murrays Part# 002-9000 Choose your wire type, length and fittings. Wire types Metal 316 Stainless Steel - the most corrosion resistant metal used in wire, ide al for marine environments. Wire type: 1x19 or 7x19 - 1x19 is stronger and stiffer, most commonly used for standing rigging like shrouds, forestays and diamond wires. 7x19 is more flexible and more commonly used for halyards or wires that have to go through a block. Coating: Bare, Black PVC or White PVC coated - PVC coating helps prevent UV and abrasion damage to the wire. Length: Pull to pull - Load bearing point to pad bearing point. This is the effective length. Measured from the farthest point inside the thimble, eye or fork to the farthest point inside the thimble, eye or fork on the other end.
