First edition, with code 25MA-26 on copyright page and featuring a cover label and pictorial endpapers illustrated by Milo Winter, while all textual illustrations are by Ruth Caroline Eger in a brightly colored style reminiscent of the art by Blanche Fischer Wright for The Real Mother Goose. A charming collection of children’s rhymes, copiously illustrated.
