This is a collaborative piece I worked on with my husband Damien. We first met at university design school a long time ago and quite often brainstorm together on various design projects and ideas. We wanted to create a piece that could double as both a dress ring and an everyday ring without being too over the top or impractical. We chose an uncommon combination of stones set into a simple form, resulting in a piece that is both bold and elegant with a subtle modernist feel. I kept the detail quite minimal in this piece to accentuate the rich colour of the spinel against the dark tones of the black diamonds. I love these little collaborations as the outcome and process is always quite different to what I’m used to. And I get to wear this piece everyday!
