The moon phases signet has the sequential moon phases cycle emerging from the face "lucerna dei et amantes" is engraved around the edge, translating from Latin as "the lamp of love rs." It comes with or without an Amethyst stone set as the full moon. PROCESS - Hand carved, oxidised and finished in the HoH home studio, Northern Beaches. Casted in Marrickville, Sydney. The moon phases stamp (the negative) was first hand carved and casted, then used to press the design (the positive) and carve the ring.
