The insert is ultralight, weighing in at 0.035 to 0.07 oz, so as to minimally affect balance. Performance is best when using 1x insert along the spine, which improves chaplins, although 2x inserts are included with the mod to maintain good balance when paired with Slim Caps. Features Silences the ring of the Squidtrainer. Improves chaplins when using 1x insert along the spine by adding a small amount of spine weight. Fits perfectly in the Squidtrainer so it won't fall out on hard drops. Shatter-proof. The Zippy Insert Mod adds 0.035 oz per insert (mod includes 2 inserts). Note that only one insert is required to silence the ring, so you can limit the installation to 1 insert to minimize blade bias. Add-on optional Zippy Slim Caps for only $5 (30% Discount) to protect the handles of the Squidtrainer and add color. Slim caps are recommended for balance if you choose to install both blade inserts. Assembly Instructions Insert both tips of the insert into the blade cutout along the spine, so that the middle is bowing outwards. Next, with your thumb, press the middle of the insert into the cutout so that the cutout is flush with the blade and smooth out the insert with your fingers. Install with the textured side of the insert facing you, so that you are pushing the "smooth" side into the blade. Repeat the process for the second insert if desired. Recommended Balance Configurations My preference is to use 1 insert along the spine to silence the ring and make chaplins stickier. When using slim caps, I recommend using both inserts.
