Cachetón is the new single by Rio 18. A slinky slice of ultra danceable outer space cumbia, it’s their first original song written in Spanish! Recorded at London’s Total Refreshmen t Studios and produced with Capitol K (The Comet Is Coming, Ibibio Sound Machine), the song was mixed in Rio de Janeiro by regular Rio 18 collaborator Kassin (Jorge Ben, Caetano Veloso). The B-side features an exclusive vinyl-only Elijah Minnelli dub and Cachetón is initially only available on vinyl 7” single with streaming options to follow in January 2024. Show more
