Please note that this pickguard will only fit genuine 1973-1983 Gibson Ripper basses. The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973-1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguar d will not fit an Epiphone-manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover.Made from 3 ply shiny red / black / red plastic material, 2.3mm thick. We cut this with a 45 degree bevelled edge and there is a clear protective film on top to protect the pickguard during installation. Show more
