The design of the Ripples Stool stems from the Ripples Bench, the 2004 Golden Compass award winning design by Toyo Ito. The seat of the stool is made of plywood with layers of walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak and ash which are showcased in distinctive droplet like indentations, creating a beautiful ripple effect. The carved seat is entirely hand-finished. The Ripples Stool is available in both bar and counter heights.
