The fringing details add movement and additional texture. Yarn: The Fibre Co. Luma (50% Merino wool, 25% organic cotton, 15% linen, 10% silk, 125 m (137 yd) per 50 g hank) – 11 hanks. The Fibre Co. Construction notes:The Blanket is worked in rows of double crochet, following a Chart for the color changes over the central ‘sun’ portion. Chart is worked from bottom up, and each square represents 1 dc stitch. Read RS rows from right to left, and WS rows from left to right. Change color mid-row in the last yoh of the previous st. Buttercup (C) is held doubled throughout. For the lower half of the blanket and yarns A and B, the three-row color repeat means that you will need to fasten off each yarn after the color change. For the upper half, carry the yarn up the side of the work.
