Noveria's debut album Risen was released in 2014 on Scarlet Records and was chosen as Metal Newcomer Of The Year by the webzine metalunderground.com. The overarching theme of the a lbum is fighting for survival in a hostile world, that keeps throwing obstacles your way. Risen comes packed with thundering riffs and high-energy songs; at times, it leans more to the power metal than the progressive side. Main inspirations for this album came from Children Of Bodom, Industrial, and the Swedish Death Metal scene. A special guest appearance was made by Simone Mularoni (DGM) on the song Fallen From Grace, in a blistering guitar solo duel with Francesco. Electronic beats were made by Giuseppe "Dualized" Bassi (Fear Factory, Grenouer). Recordings were done at Apocalypse Recording Studio in Rome, and mixing and mastering were made by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio.
