An orca breaking through deep blue water beneath a glowing sky. This piece carries that feeling of movement and breath, the quiet power of something rising from below the surface.
The enamel painting was built up layer by layer by hand and kiln fired multiple times before being set in sterling silver. Tiny shifts in color and brushwork give the water its movement and depth. The reverse side features my engraved maker’s mark in sterling silver. Finished with an 18" sterling silver chain and handmade hook and eye clasp. ❀ Details • Hand painted vitreous enamel • Solid sterling and fine silver bezel • Pendant with bail measures approximately 13/16" x 7/8" • Sterling silver chain, 18 inches, with handmade hook and eye clasp ❀ Care for Your Enamel Jewelry I use high-quality materials to create artful jewelry meant to be worn and treasured for years to come. While these pieces are lightweight and comfortable, they should be removed before bathing or swimming. Prolonged moisture, especially from chlorinated water, can cause silver to darken more quickly. Apply perfume, hairspray, or body products before putting on your jewelry, and remove it when using household cleaners. Chemical fumes and residues can affect both silver and enamel over time.
