Hand-shaped in Moradabad, the city in northern India known for centuries as Pital Nagri, the Brass City. Here, more than half of all hands are devoted to metalwork, a craft passed from one generation to the next for over four hundred years. Every tin is forged, pressed, and polished by hand. We source exclusively through a WFTO-certified fair trade partnership. Artisans are paid above local wages, and proceeds are reinvested directly in their communities through schooling, healthcare, and clean water for their families. Most of the hands behind your tin belong to women working from home, where craft and family share the same space.
