Rival Strength's J-Series Wall Mounted Adjustable Free Arm Functional Trainer Pulley System, offering 360-degree pivoting handle positions from high to low. We have taken onboard all feedback from the original cable system, for a unique V2 version which doesn’t just challenge compact single arm cable systems, but dual action pulley systems as well. Not only does the cable system provide use for 1:1 ratio single stack exercises like lat pulldowns and dual functional trainer options like cable flys, it does it all from a compact unit that extends just 630mm from the wall. Key changes/additions include: 360 degree free motion pivoting arms (180 degree each side) Rotating handles Aluminium pulley wheels J-Series Attachment (60mm) compatible Footplate and leg support pads added Premium chrome pop-pins Nylon rollers used for the carriage The new pivoting handle feature makes for a far superior cable system when compared to static handles, even when compared to a dual action pulley (Video on this pending). By adjusting the handles out wide, the cable system is optimised for cable fly's. When the handles are positioned at the top or bottom, you can connect them for a 1:1 pulling ratio, better suited for lat pulldown or low row exercises where more weight is required (This is not possible on a standard dual action pulley). The machine itself may only be 2.02m tall, but with the handles positioned upwards and the trolley to the very top you can maximise the ceiling height of your space for the perfect pulldown with full range of motion. The maximum height of the product is 2400mm with the arms fully extended (a ceiling height over 2020mm is required for it to fit). The dual handles can be easily adjusted up and down the main stainless steel upright, using nylon rollers to assist with the ease of gliding. The carriage also uses high quality chrome pop-pins, for an easy adjustment of the carriage itself and the angles of the handles. The Cable Machine includes two back stabilising points to mount onto your wall. The cable system also uses 17 aluminium pulley wheels as standard, these offer a very smooth feel on the cables while also minimising the risk of wear and tear. What are ratios? A 2:1 Ratio means the weight being lifted is half the weight loaded onto the plate carriage (40KG feels like 20KG), a 1:1 ratio you would be lifting the full weight loaded onto the carriage (40KG feels like 40KG). The benefit of a 2:1 ratio over a 1:1 ratio is the distance the handle can be pulled. The handle can move twice the distance compared to a 1:1 ratio, giving you more room for larger cable flies and any exercise that requires the cable to move further, while also offering smaller increments when adjusting the weight.
