The traditional Japanese practice of Seiza - sitting on the heels - promotes natural spinal alignment and is widely used in yoga and meditation. Cut entirely from solid walnut, each bench is built by hand in our studio. The removable legs can be placed in the outer slots for added stability or the inner slots for a wider, more open leg position. Try both to find what works best for you.
