#CarryOn artwork on A4 paper Artist statement I have an intense love of the unique and stunning landscapes of Australia. I explore rhythm, colour and form from a storehouse of memo ries of my travels, and occasionally paint plein air or use my photos for inspiration. I turn up to my studio every day and I never know what's going to happen. I love to explore different tools and colour palettes to keep my work fresh and immediate. A series of works begun plein air last year, recently completed in the studio. Riverbed was inspired by various views from the car window while travelling towards Hillend.
