A special dinner in celebration of Gusbourne's English rosé launch. Hosted by Tom Harrow and Gusbourne's Global Ambassador Laura Rhys MS, we sipped through their esteemed collection of bubbly as we enjoyed a paired menu by Sam’s Riverside in Hammersmith. Based primarily in Kent, it's hard to believe that Gusbourne only started planting vines in 2004. Farming 60ha in Appledore, with a smaller estate in West Sussex, Gusbourne works with clones from Burgundy and champions low-intervention, sustainable farming, hand-picking during harvest and using rigorous selection at the sorting table to ensure only the best quality fruit makes it into the final wine. The estate has been awarded IWC English Wine Producer of the Year a whopping three times (more than anyone else), and are the recipient of hundreds of medals, including a few fabled Decanter Platinum Awards. Wines served on the night included: Blanc de Blancs 2018 Blanc de Blancs 2013 Cork Aged Blanc de Blancs 2013 Late Disgorged Blanc de Noirs 2019 Pinot Noir 2020 en Magnum English Rosé 2022
