From the Piedmont wine region, Rizzi 2017 Barbera D'alba is a medium-bodied Barbera sourced from vines growing in white marl clay- calcareous and sandy soils. Grapes were hand-harv ested and fermented in controlled-temperature stainless-steel tanks and aged in large oak casks, stainless-steel tank and concrete eggs. Vibrant and juicy on the nose with bright cherry, rose petals, plum, anise, cinnamon and ginger spice flavours. Finishes long and creamy on the palate.
