INDIGO is the debut solo studio album by BTS leader RM, released on December 2, 2022 through Big Hit Music. The album arrived as part of BTS’s Chapter 2 era of individual projects and serves as a personal archive reflecting RM’s experiences, thoughts, and artistic growth in his late twenties. The release was promoted with the lead single Wild Flower featuring Youjeen, presenting a reflective concept that explores identity, creativity, and the balance between fame and authenticity. The album blends hip hop, alternative, R&B, and indie influences that highlight RM’s versatility as a solo artist and songwriter. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200, becoming at the time the highest charting album by a Korean soloist and earning RM his first solo top ten entry on the chart.
