The OEM wire routing was very poor, and allowed the harness to rub against the motor, damaging the insulation and damaging the charging system. We recommend routing your stator/regulator wiring outside of the frame rail, and securing the harness to the frame with zip ties. This should prevent any future damage to the wiring harness. Battery condition is extremely important. No stator can work correctly with a bad or weak battery.
