Our Roasting Potatoes are more specialist than the All-Rounders, and are especially brilliant for roasting and making chips with. The come from two suppliers - one in Cornwall and one in Devon - depending on the time of year. The variety may change during the year. They will often be Maris Piper, but it will depend on what's best and in season. The drier the potato inside, the better it will be for roasting, so we use this as our guide when selecting. They come in four different sizes - from small 2kg to big 25kg bags. Nice paper bags as well, no plastic! Because they are straight from the farm you'll find they will last longer than your average potato (so if you order a bigger bag, you'll get better value). This is because they've not been sprayed with chemicals to make them appear cleaner!
