What makes this garment special? This sweater has a healthy mix of classic and modern fabrics, shapes, and elements involved with it. The main fabric is a knit cotton that you could easily associate with sweaters, but then you add the faux leather paneling throughout the garment and it's immediately something unique. The shape seems to be pretty classic until you see the difference between the front and back hemlines. the back is a straight hem, and at the side seams, the front hems dive at a sharp angle before meeting at the center front of the piece. Finally, the lack of closure upfront, the contrasting patch pockets that sit perfectly in the contrast fabric panel, and the panel itself wraps around the entire garment with perfect symmetry.
