Why We Love It The chenille plush knit — the fabric that earns the word "cloud." The same high-density chenille from Lounge by Jan Marie's bestselling blanket collection, now in a full-length robe. Marshmallow-soft, non-itchy, and friction-free against skin — the texture that maintains its bounce wash after wash rather than matting flat. Lavender — the wellness colour that genuinely works in a robe. A soft, dusty purple with enough grey in its tone to read as sophisticated rather than sweet. Lavender in a chenille robe hits the visual note of a high-end spa without needing the price tag of one. The colour that feels intentionally calming — which is exactly what a robe should feel like. Comfort stretch — the fit that moves with you, not against you. A relaxed, slightly oversized silhouette with comfort stretch that molds to the body without feeling restrictive. This robe lands right and stays there through the morning. Deep side pockets — genuinely functional. Deep enough for a phone, remote, and whatever else comes with you from the bedroom to the kitchen. Mid-calf length with a secure waist tie. Long enough to feel luxurious, short enough to live in all morning. The waist tie gathers cleanly at the front or leaves open over pyjamas. Machine washable and tumble-dry safe. The fresh-from-the-dryer fluffiness is repeatable on every wash cycle. The Full Story Lounge by Jan Marie is a Canadian brand making the loungewear equivalent of comfort food — the pieces that feel immediately right and make staying home feel like the best possible choice. The Lavender Chenille Robe is the wellness-palette option in the collection: the robe for the woman who lights a candle, puts on something warm, and believes the morning routine deserves actual attention. "The robe that makes October feel like a spa day. The colour helps." Gifting This? Good to Know Is chenille different from regular plush or fleece?Yes — chenille is a specific yarn construction that creates a distinctly softer, more velvety texture than standard plush or fleece. It's the same fabric from Lounge by Jan Marie's bestselling blankets — dense, warm, and non-itchy, with a pile that stays fluffy wash after wash rather than flattening out. What shade is the Lavender exactly?A soft, dusty purple with grey undertones — not a bright purple, not a pale pastel. It sits in that sophisticated middle ground that reads as genuinely calming rather than juvenile. Coordinates beautifully with white, light grey, and soft neutral bedroom palettes. The Lavender Chenille Blanket is a matching shade for a full coordinated set. Can I wear this as a housecoat all day?Absolutely — the mid-calf length, deep pockets, and comfort stretch make it a genuinely functional all-day indoor layer. The Lavender works particularly well as a morning layer alongside the matching Lavender Cozy Cabin Blanket for a complete cosy-season setup. How does it wash?Machine wash cold or warm, tumble dry low. The chenille pile maintains its softness and the Lavender colour holds well with cold washing. Avoid high heat drying which can compress the pile over time. Does this come as a bundle?Yes — the Lavender Luxe Bundle pairs the Lavender Robe with the Lavender Chenille Blanket ($350 for the set). One of the most complete, coordinated gift sets in the Lounge by Jan Marie collection.
